Hermo Pharma our new member from Finland

We would like to welcome our most recent member, Hermo Pharma Oy Ltd.
The company was founded in 2008 by professors Mart Saarma, Eero Castrén, Heikki Rauvala and Dr. Henri Huttunen.
Hermo Pharma is engaging in developing novel disease-modifying treatments for amblyopia, Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
It operates in close collaboration with several academic laboratories affiliated with the University of Helsinki.
The Company is a privately owned, venture capital backed company. The current investors include Helsinki University Funds and Seed Fund Vera Ltd.
On top of the venture capital investments, the company has obtained additional public funding including Michal J. Fox Foundation to support the company operations.
