The Nansen Neuroscience Network meeting in Trondheim on 29th May 2012 is a collaboration with MI Lab, the Kavli Institute/Centre for the Biology of Memory, The National Competence Centre for fMRI, and The Norwegian Research School in Medical Imaging (MedIm). The meeting is the first official Nansen Neuroscience Network event in Trondheim and will highlight research activities in the field of neuroscience/neuroimaging.

 Travel grants to PhD students

To encourage the participation of PhD candidates from other Norwegian cities, the Norwegian Research School in Medical Imaging (MedIm) will offer a limited number of travel grants to PhD candidates participating in the event. PhD candidates enrolled in PhD programmes at other Norwegian institutions are eligible to apply, however, priority will be given to PhD candidates with projects in Medical Imaging. Individual grants are limited to NOK 2000, to cover travel and hotel accommodation (i.e. one night at maximum NOK 950).
